Those shopping around for a new SUV, perhaps for off-road activities, should be aware of the distinctions between the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport and the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer. This is fantastic news. Various aspects of features, off-road handling, trim levels, and performance will be revealed here. While the 2021 Trailblazer is praised for its comfort and features, the 2021 Bronco Sport is noted for its boxy shape and excellent performance.

The Bronco Sport, on the other hand, has more cargo space, with 32.5 cubic feet of room behind the back seats. The Trailblazer can offer 25.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. 4) Engines- Both vehicles are available with two engines, with Ford offering two EcoBoost engines here. Ford is offering 3-cylinder engines on the Bronco Sport. The first is a 1.5-liter engine with 181 hp of power and 190 lb-ft of torque. While this is available for the Outer Banks, Big Bend, and the Base variants, there is a more powerful 2.0-liter engine in the Badlands. This 2.0-liter engine is capable of 250 hp of power and277 lb-ft of torque. Both engines have been connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. 

The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer gets turbocharged 3-cylinder engines as well, but with lesser power. While the 1.2-liter engine here produces 137 hp of power and 162 lb-ft of torque, the 1.3-liter engine has 155 hp of power and 174 lbs.-ft of torque. Both engines have been connected with either a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) or a 9-speed automatic transmission.  

5) Exterior Shape- The Bronco Sport is the boxier SUV of the two. Although it is slightly shorter in length when compared to the Trailblazer, the latter is narrower and shorter in height as well. 

6) Off-Road Capability- The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is the clear winner when it comes to superior off-road capability. Some of the top features to conquer difficult terrains with this vehicle are:

7) Fuel in the Tank- Individuals can carry more fuel in the Bronco Sport’s tank, which offers 16 gallons instead of 13.2 gallons on the Trailblazer. While Ford’s base engine is able to deliver a City/highway mileage of 25/28 MPG, the 2.0-liter engine allows 21/26 MPG. The Trailblazer scores better here, offering 28/31 MPG with the 1.2 and 29/33 with the 1.3.
